Outsourcing Team

This team of dedicated professionals has a wealth of experience in bookkeeping and accounting experience. The team advises on best practices and accounting complexities while performing accounting procedures effectively and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

This position is responsible for maintaining financial records and recording transactions for clients. This is done by establishing accounts, posting transactions, reconciling general ledger accounts, payroll administration and reporting, and more.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Full general ledger accounting and reporting for multiple clients
  • Reconcile basic and complex balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheet and profit and loss statement
  • Prepare reconciliations and journal entries
  • Payroll administration and reporting
  • Record and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including but not limited to accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
  • Audit preparation and assistance
  • Generate 1099 forms and filing
  • Sales and Use tax reporting
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping, or equivalent certificate
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of in-full charge bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with accrual based accounting
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools
  • Adept at working with computer and electronic programs, file formats, and communication tools
  • Proficiency with various accounting software packages, e.g., QuickBooks
  • Non-profit experience, a plus
  • Highly organized; detail oriented; strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated with a team attitude; ability to plan, problem solve, and conduct research
  • Strong time management and prioritizing skills; ability to multi-task while working on various projects and clients; work well under pressure
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to engage with a variety of team members and clients
  • Willingness to learn and grow to meet changing requirements and technologies of the position and business
