Tom Ruiz is a Staff Accountant and member of the firm’s nonprofit team. He joined Ritz Holman CPAs as an intern in 2023 and came on full-time as a staff accountant in July 2025. He is focused on serving nonprofit audit clients.

Tom’s areas of concentration include:

Nonprofit audit, review and compilations with a large concentration of audits subject to Federal Uniform Guidance and state auditing standards
Preparation of the form 990 and state tax returns
Charitable organizations and associations
Charter, Choice and Partnership schools
Agreed-upon-procedures and audits of or charter, MPS Non- Instrumentality Charter and Choice schools
Knowledgeable of GAAS, GAGAS and GAAP audits standards
