Dean R. Goetter, CPA, CVA

Dean Goetter is a partner and member of the firm’s tax team. Since joining the firm in 1981 and becoming partner in 1988, Dean has focused on closely-held business tax and consulting, with a special emphasis in partnership taxation.

During his 25-plus year career, Dean has worked extensively with real estate developers and owners, from creating initial plans and forecasted financial statements through preparing annual tax returns and financial statements over the life of the project. In 2003, Dean became a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) through the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). His closely-held business consulting has since grown to include valuation services.

He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin ­— Platteville in 1974. Dean is a member of the American and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and NACVA. He enjoys fishing and boating in the north woods and is a true Wisconsin sports fan, following the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and Bucks.
