Type of Work
What I like about working on the nonprofit team is the client contact. Many of our clients welcome our ideas on how to improve their organizations controls; before we've completed the field work, they've implemented our recommendations.
Time to Work
I have three children and I'm working towards becoming a CPA. Although our clients needs and deadlines are a high priority, I can choose how to meet them. The firm recognizes the value of family. If necessary, I am able to work from home.
Teamwork
We use the word teams here because we really do work together. I'm always welcome to walk into a partners office and have a conversation. I feel like I am part of the team.
